PESHAWAR: An airplane of a foreign airline made an emerg
ency landing at the Bacha Khan Airport due to brake failure.
According to sources, brakes of the plane, traveling to Peshawar from Bahrain, failed before landing.
The technical faul
t in the brakes of the plane forced the pilots to use an emergency brake.
No casualties were reported, however the pl
ane was slig
htly damaged.
Civil Aviation Authority rejected the reports about any damage to the plane during the emerg
ency landing.
Rescue teams reached the si
te after the information was received.
